Tamarin is a task and time manager. Your data lives
on your own device; if you want it synced across devices, everything that
goes to the cloud is encrypted first.
What it does
-
Ranking you can explain. Tasks are ordered by importance, duration, time
left and age. You set how much each one counts, and you can see why a task sits where it
does.
-
Load meter. One number for how full the plan ahead of you is. Overdue
work is counted separately.
-
Prerequisite chains. Link work that cannot start before something else
finishes; the order follows on its own.
-
Notes. Markdown, checkable items, notes linked to tasks, and images
placed anywhere in the text.
-
Your own AI key. Bring your own API key and the assistant can do
everything the interface can. Nobody sits in the middle.
Where your data lives
The app has no server. Your data sits in files on your device. If you turn
on sync, those files go to your own Google Drive — encrypted before they
leave. Only you know the passphrase; nobody, Google included, can read the contents. We
never store the passphrase, so if it is lost the cloud copy cannot be recovered.
